Mouthwatering Tie on This Week
This weekend’s Matchday 20 clash between third-placed Future Legends and log leaders Chicken Inn Pullets has a lot of subplots to it! It is not a simple top-of-the-table clash.
For Legends, this match might be all about validation and proving something to the doubting Thomases. Their occupation of third place is built on the backdrop of six walkovers - the highest in the league. Yes, 18 points won on a silver platter, and most observers will feel it is a house built on sand.
What better way to put that right than by becoming the first team to beat Chicken Inn Pullets in this campaign?
And a clash between the meanest defence - Legends have conceded just 5 - and the most prolific attack - Pullets have scored 129 - will always be interesting.
With second-placed Sibanye Academy meeting lowly Street Set, the log leaders go into their clash knowing any slip-up will result in a morale-sapping climbdown to second as the race to the region intensifies.
